Julia Skala’s Norseman-Ready Orbea ORDU M10iLTD

After a fourth-place finish at IRONMAN Lanzarote earlier this year, Julia Skala will be Kona-bound in October, but before she can start her build for the world championship she’ll take on the race that has been her main goal for 2025 – the famed Norseman Xtreme triathlon.
“At the beginning of the year I thought about my place in racing and the sport,” she says. “I know I am a competitive type of athlete and I want to race … but I’m also an adventurer. I want to be outside, I want to be in nature, in the mountains. I want to feel different conditions. I thought, I want to have something like this in a race. I want to not only beat numbers, I want to test myself and go to the limit. I think I found this limit here.”
Skala certainly has found that limit here in Norway as she takes on the event that many consider to be the toughest triathlon in the world. She’ll be taking that on, though, on this fast looking Orbea ORDU M10iLTD.

Skala rides 172.5 mm cranks with 55/39 chainrings. She gauges power with the FSA Powerbox power meter, and uses Look Keo pedals.

Skala’s bike features Shimano Dura Ace components with Ceramic Speed pulleys. The rear cassette is an 11-28.

Skala rides the Xentis BLADE and Xentis MARK3 wheels.

On those wheels are Continental Aero 111 29 mm tires (both front and rear).

The cockpit is a fully customized MonoGrip by prints4watts

The cockpit includes a single BTA bottle integrated into the cockpit system. There’s an Orbea ORDU aero bottle on the down tube and a single bottle mounted behind the Bontrager Hilo Comp saddle.

The flat kit under the down tube improves the bike’s aero performance.
Beautiful bike. I’m loving the coverage of Norseman.
