Terenzo Bozzone and Leanda Cave won the Ironman 70.3 Miami event a few days ago but the loudest noise about the event is not about the winners, but rather the runner-up in the women’s race – Austrian Pro Lisa Hütthaler.

Andy Potts reeled in TJ Tollakson late in the run to win the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Austin. Rachel McBride from Canada used a strong swim - bike combo to take the win in the women's race.

Jesse Thomas ran down Andrew Starykowicz to take the win at the inaugural Rev3 Florida event that had been converted into a duathlon. Becky Lavelle grabbed the title in the women's race about 90 seconds up on Nicole Kelleher.

Olympic silver medalist Javier Gomez of Spain won the XTERRA World Championship in his first off road triathlon and Lesley Paterson of Great Britain repeated at Maui with a dominating, mistake-free race.

A lethal swim and bike combo allowed Clayton Fettell to take the title of the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie in 3:50:15. Britta Martin took the win in the women's race in 4:32:26.
