No, you weren't banned. No we weren't protesting PIPA and SOPA. An explosion blew up the fiber optic cables carrying our signal to you. Slowtwitch was down from 2pm Pacific to midnight.

A statement on the recent Slowtwitch outage

On Jan. 18, Slowtwitch experienced a server outage of several hours. This was the result of damage to the fiber optic lines connecting our servers - and others - to the rest of the Internet. The outage came at a time when two bills in the US Congress threaten to make such disruptions more frequent. Here are our thoughts on both issues.
