For many the morning starts at 2 am with an early morning breakfast. Then it’s off to check in and setting up transition before boarding the ferry that takes them to the start. The Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is an event like no other – how many races do you normally have to jump off a ferry into the dark waters of a cold fjord to swim to the start line? Slowtwitch was on hand to take in the incredible atmosphere of this unique event this year – here’s the first of four photo galleries we’ll be posting:
