Jana Uderstadt’s Quintana Roo V-PRi is Dialled In for her IRONMAN World Championship Debut

Germany’s Jana Uderstadt has never been to Kona or the IRONMAN World Championship before, but she has arrived on Hawaii’s Big Island ready for a hard battle on Saturday. She qualified for Kona at IRONMAN South Africa in March after a sixth-place finish.

Uderstadt is riding the Quintana Roo V-PRi, a fast bike that she’s confident can propel her along the Queen K Highway and up the rankings in the pro women’s field. She only joined the Quintana Roo team this year (just weeks before her big performance in South Africa), so she is understandably excited to be representing the brand in Hawaii.

Slowtwitch got the chance to chat with Uderstadt and take a look at her V-PRi, and we’re happy to share what she’ll be riding here. – Ben Snider-McGrath

Be honest: do you know how to change a flat on your bike?

If given the choice, you prefer to ride a wheel that is:

Do you believe that hookless wheels are unsafe, or simply not for you?
