by Slowman, October 19, 2009Age grouper Kathleen Calkins broke the overall female age group record in Kona, Hawaii with her 9:46:27 finish at the 2009 Ford Ironman World Championships. With that great time she also managed to be the 12th overall female.
Last year’s look at the running shoes of the top 10 finishers was quite popular, and thus we decided to make it about the top 15 athletes this time around. Money stops at the 10th spot, but there is no reason for us to stop there.
