Introducing Specialized Alias
Specialized launched a new women's specific beginner triathlon bike in Kona during the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championships, and this new bike is called Alias. It will be available in 5 sizes ranging from 44cm to 57cm and is offered in a Pro, Comp and Sport line. The Sport edition retails for $2,600 and the Pro version featured below will top out at $6,000. So it is really not so much about an entry level bike from a cost perspective, but for someone who is interested in the sport but might not want a full on triathlon bike. The bike features a zero offset seatpost and seat tube angles range from 77-78 degrees.
If you are looking for pink, please move on.
To make this bike less intimidating and versatile Specialized opted for road drop bars with a clip-on aero bar.
