Raelert, Csomor conquer Austria

Andreas Raelert posted a 5th-fastest-ever Ironman Austria finish of 7:59:51 to top runner-up Maik Twelsiek by 11:45; Erika Csomor won her second title in a women’s 10th-fastest-ever IM Austria time of 8:59:31.

A close call for Meredith Kessler

US Pro Champion Meredith Kessler was leading Ironman 70.3 Eagleman on the bike when she was struck by an oncoming age group athlete, crashed, was knocked out and sustained head trauma and other injuries.
