Henning dominates, Wellington superb

Rasmus Henning was first out of the water, crushed the bike segment and then cruised home to win Ironman 70.3 Timberman. Chrissie Wellington also led from start to finish to take her fourth title and finish 9th overall.

Brits win ITU Team Worlds

The British team was predicted to win the Team World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland and they did not disappoint. Defending Champion Switzerland finished second and Germany third despite a penalty.

Tommy Zaferes edged Brian Fleischmann for a breakthrough win and Becky Lavelle won it with the swim, edging Christie Sym by 35 seconds at SF Triathlon at Alcatraz

Kahsar, Willliams win AG Nationals

Karl Kahsar, the 2011 USAT Collegiate National Men's Champion, and Susan Williams, the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist, win overall titles at USAT age group nationals

Riveros Diaz in Lausanne

Barbara Riveros Diaz stormed past Emma Jackson with 200 meters to go to take the win at the ITU Sprint Worlds in Lausanne. Andrea Hewitt finished third and fourth placed Helen Jenkins moved into the lead of the series.

The very busy Jordan Jones

Jordan Jones is a man of many interests. He is a pro triathlete, successful business owner, former police officer and ran a 14:25 5k at Boston U. Jordan is on the start list for Hy-Vee to compete for the huge paycheck.

European Champ Andi Böcherer

Andreas Böcherer earned the European 70.3 Championship title with his recent win at 70.3 Wiesbaden, and the quiet German has had a very good season so far. We won't see him in Las Vegas, but he is looking forward to Kona.

Where is the money?

Some of us are paid after two weeks of work, some of us are paid monthly. That lag in pay can be a lot longer for pro triathletes and in some cases they may actually not see the money at all.

Böcherer, Thuerig win 70.3 European Champs
