Eduardo Sturla dominated the field at the 2009 Ironman Brazil and repeated his win from 2008. Dede Griesbauer took the women's title in a time of 9:10:15 and showed that she really has sharpened her game.

Kiwi Andrea Hewitt out sprints Lisa Norden of Sweden and Jessica Harrison of France to win Madrid ITU World Championship Series Round Two at Madrid. Sarah Haskins of USA is 5th.

Tour of Sweden – day 13

John McGovern's 13th day at the Tour of Sweden included strong headwinds, desolate roads, the midnight sun, stupid reindeer and frolicking rabbits. To close out this training camp, a big party is scheduled for tomorrow night.
