Kona 2023 Bikes: Anne Haug’s Cervelo P5

Anne Haug has been remarkably consistent at world championship events. Although best known for her run prowess, Haug is no slouch on the bike, either. She's been a Cervelo athlete for many years, and this is her machine of choice for Saturday's race.

Although the P5 has been around for a couple of years, it still strikes a presence.

The paint changing never gets old. This view also shows just how well-engineered the frame bottle was for this bike; it integrates perfectly.

Haug was one of the first in the women's field to adopt the full-length forearm aerobar. Here's a top look at the cockpit, complete with Garmin computer and a traditional bottle cage.

The wheel upfront: DT Swiss ARC 1100 62s, complete with Schwalbe Pro One TT tires.

Out back, it's the ARC 1100 80, mated with the blue walled Pro One TT. The most notable aspect of that tire? There's no marking on it anywhere denoting size or pressure. We do know it's meant to be run tubeless though!

It's not a rear hydration carrier at the moment out back — instead, an X-Lab pouch finds its place here.

As we wrote about last year, the Gebiomized Stride is becoming a very popular saddle amongst pros — Haug included.

Another look at the Cervelo bottle which comes with your bike, as well as the front Dura-Ace Di2 derailleur.

Cervelo long-used Rotor as their OEM spec'd crank. Here, Haug's got an ALDHU Inspider powermeter crank and an aero chainring.

The Di2 rear derailleur has been modified to include CeramicSpeed aero lower pulleys.

It's a fast machine that should be near the front all day, barring a mechanical malady.
