The taillight aspect of the system, however, falls well short of being bright enough, especially for use during the day. This first generation system shows a lot of promise but definitely needs work before it falls into the category of need rather than want.

40° air temps and 50° water temps – ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes in Germany

Tough nature conditions at the inaugural ÖTILLÖ 1000 Lakes did not deter SwimRun athletes from tackling this beautiful terrain at the Mecklenburger Seenplatte. 10km of swimming and 35km of trail running with 22 transitions and 40° air temps and 50° water temps were challenging even for the most seasoned and hardened athletes, and were too much for others.
