Gina Crawford’s Ceepo Katana

Kiwi Gina Crawford won Challenge Wanaka and finished 4th at Challenge Roth this year. While in Roth we had a chance to check out her Shimano, Rolf Prima, Continental, Cobb and TriRig equipped Ceepo Katana. We also captured Gina Crawford in slow motion on that Katana.

Gina Crawford, who is 5 foot 3 inches tall, rides a size S Katana with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 components.

The quiet but always friendly Kiwi was the first female pro to arrive at the bike check-in.

The numbers on the downtube indicate size followed by top tube length, reach, stack and seat angle.

Gina Crawford rides Rolf Prima wheels with a 23mm Continental Grand Prix TT tire up front.

An adjustable stem gets Crawford low on that size S Ceepo Katana. The Shimano Junction A box fits perfectly there, but it might look better if it were hidden.

Crawford rides a Felt Devox base bar with a TorHans hydration system mounted between the extensions.

The stock TRP unit was swapped out for the TriRig Omega brake.

Crawford races on a Cobb Plus saddle.

A Profile design cage is mounted directly below with zip ties.

Crawford made sure that her race number was as aero and small as possible, but a race official decided she had cut too much off and gave her a new number.

Up close with the fork.

Crawford rides on 165mm Shimano Dura-Ace cranks with 55-42 rings and Keywin pedals.

Another Rolf Prima wheel in back, but this time with a 23mm Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II tire.
