Athletes take on the point to point race, from the sunny beaches, to the heart of downtown Los Angeles in the last race before the Dallas Cup.

A race best bike split of 53:38 helped Cameron Dye to grab the win at the 2012 Herbalife LA Triathlon. Alicia Kaye also dominated the bike segment with a 58:26 effort and then ran to the title in the women's race.

But beyond the pro race, the LA Triathlon also always draws a massive age group field that is the heart and soul of this classic race. Eric Wynn captures all of these athletes as they tackle one of the most iconic and enduring races in the US.
