Belgian Uplace Pro Sofie Goos is currently preparing for Ironman Los Cabos and we had a video chat with her while briefly at home in Belgium. She was getting ready for a big event that night where she was presenting an award, and she was a little embarrassed about the makeup. We thought it was no issue and were quite impressed how she handled the kids of her boyfriend who were curious about the happenings.
Her team is training at the Sands Beach Resort in Lanzarote and the climate there is much more appealing for training outside, and Goos only managed to handle a few days in frigid Belgium.
Brrr, it does look very cold in Belgium.
