2013 Sea Otter Classic - day 3

While the 2013 Sea Otter Classic will go on another day tomorrow, this is our 3rd and final coverage day of this fantastic family cycling event. Saturday is typically the biggest and busiest day and it appeared that that was true again. There was quite a bit of racing action on the trails and on the road, plus a Gran Fondo also took place. The expo area with more than 400 exhibitors was thus filled with curious cycling fans and their families. Enjoy the pictures.

Early on the aisles were filled with people but it got busier as the day progressed.

Trek brought in their Project One demo truck and despite harsh weather along the travel route it arrived in Monterey just in time for the busy weekend.

Folks can indeed learn what is possible in terms of customization and the wall of frames serves as an inspiration.

Fizik now offers neon colors on their saddles, so now you can match your saddle to your neon shoes and helmet. We actually also noticed a few neon colored frames.

The women of Team Exergy were warming up on their road bikes in a bit of shade.
