More 70.3 Worlds images

Our second gallery from the 70.3 World Championships was shot by the talented Kerry Yndestad, and features some great swimming and running shots. The first gallery we posted yesterday is more bicycle heavy.

We can't say it often enough, but this setting was truly spectacular.

Andi Böcherer and Javier Gomez were first out of the water in the men's race.

But a very large group was not far behind.

Lauren Brandon was first out of the water in 22:46 and would have set a record had she finished the race.

Daniela Ryf had a solid that put her in great position.

More women filed out of the water, and the race was on.

Canadian Magali Tisseyre was always near the front of the action on the bike.

Meredith Kessler did not have the day she hoped for, and ended up not finishing the race.

Jan Frodeno looked smooth on the run despite the monster bike effort.

Andi Böcherer was right behind him running in third position, but he fell back to 6th place after having the second best bike split in Zell am See.

When Daniela Ryf started the run she had a big advantage.

Magali Tisseyre ran 1:28:45 on the way to 4th place.

Sebastian Kienle suprised many with a 1:15:22 run that bested Jan Frodeno and Javier Gomez. Only Bart Aernouts ran faster.

Javier Gomez ran down several competitors to finish 3rd with a 1:15:35 run.

Anja Berenek had a solid day in Zell am See and was rewarded with a podium spot.

The Germans definitely dominated the men's race.

Jan Van Berkel was happy with his 7th place finish.

Here comes the now 2-time champion Daniela Ryf.

Heather Wurtele ran with gusto and finished second to help prevent a European podium sweep.
