2013 US CX Nats Elite

Jonathan Page and Katie Compton won the 2013 US Cyclocross National Championships in Madison, WI and a few other athletes appear to have also stamped their ticket to represent the United States in the UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Louisville, KY later this month. A massive field made for tight action early on.

The pain of the effort shows on the face of Timothy Johnson on his way to 5th place.

Jonathan Page had a superb day and managed the course well. The US CX National title was his reward.

Daniel Summerhill looked great in Madison and earned 4th place.

As Jade Wilcoxson and Meredith Miller came up on lapped traffic, Miller encountered a mechanical issue.

The fan club of Katie Compton does not need to be reminded to HTFU.

And Katie Compton took the win in a dominating fashion.

Hannah Finchamp was a lap down, but almost managed to avoid it.

It wasn't easy with Katie Compton in the race, but Katie Arnold avoided being lapped.
