Brownlee, Moffatt in Paris

Alistair Brownlee took the win at the GP Lyonnaise des Eaux in Paris just ahead of his younger brother Jonathan. Emma Moffatt and Emma Jackson took the top two spots in the women's race.

These standard sprint races are very common for the French GP series and they attract very stellar International fields. This particular one at the base of the Eiffel Tower was held in very cold and windy conditions and racers had to battle not only the dominant Brownlees but also slippery and wet roads after swimming in the Seine. Several folks crashed in fact during the bike segment but neither rain, wind nor cold could stop Brits Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee and the two Aussie Emmas from taking the top spots.
