Mavic Cosmic Carbone 80
What: These new Mavic Carbone 80 have been overdue as an option for triathletes but will be available for 2011. Designed as a tire/wheel combination, they feature an 80mm deep dish rim, elliptical sidewalls, wide tire seat beds and 16/20 thin ultra bladed spokes. According to Mavic "Some of our other TT or triathlon wheels in the past have been built around skinnier tires but this design is around a 23mm. But there is a variance between different manufacturers' 23s in width and aerodynamics so this wheel-tire systems pairs them perfectly."
