What We Have Noticed: Louis Garneau ...

We kept our eyes and ears wide open for you and noticed the Louis Garneau Tri 300 shoes, 7Systems supplements, Mammoth Endurance Crib, Giving back to Roth, Trix-Gear Triathlon t-shirt and Bosch L-Boxx 1 storage.

Louis Garneau Tri 300

What: Louis Garneau just announced the release of a new triathlon shoe called Tri 300. The shoe won't be available until the end of the year but some details have trickled out. The shoe is supposed to be lighter than the Carbon Tri HRS, has a new strapping system, new pull strap with reflector and Icefil insole and inner cup. You can get an early look at them at 70.3 World on the feet of Joe Gambles and Chris Legh, or here on slowtwitch.

Mammoth Endurance Crib

What: Athletes who want to spend a week training at altitude can do so at the Mammoth Endurance Crib at Snowcreek Resort at Mammoth. It works for Meb Keflezighi and Josh Cox, and Chris Lieto often goes there too, so now you can do the same. If nothing else you may want to check out the June Lake Triathlon there for some real suffering at altitude.

Giving back to Roth

What: In 1988 Dirk Aschmoneit finished 2nd at the inaugural Ironman Europe in Roth and followed it up with a 7th place in Hawaii. Aschmoneit returned to Roth this year for the 10th anniversary of the race now known as Challenge Roth and decided to give back to the sport. With support from PowerBar, Zoot, Shimano and Stevens Bikes he donated a replica of his custom Stevens race bike to the Youth Sport Development Program of the local Triathlon Club of the city of Roth (TSG Roth) and that bike will be offered at an auction, with proceeds going to TSG Roth.

Trix-Gear Triathlon

What: I usually prefer a less in your face t-shirt, but I am well aware that not every one has the same taste along those lines. Most folks actually seem to really enjoy sporting their finishers t-shirts and sharing with others what sport they have a passion for. That being said the Trix Gear Triathlon shirt is actually quite nice and will leave no doubt what you love.
Sizes: S-XL
MSRP: $27

Bosch L-Boxx 1 storage

What: Some triathletes and cyclists actually do have some mechanical skills and enjoy working on their bikes, but nothing is more annoying than tools all over the place. That is where the new Bosch L-Boxx 1 storage system comes to the rescue. With the 1-click stacking feature you can even lock several of the cases together and keep your tools nicely organized in separate boxes.
