What We Have Noticed: Oiselle, Boxtera ...

This first week of the year 2013 we noticed the Oiselle Lesley knicker, Boxtera snack delivery, Zoot WRKSNano jacket, Leikr GPS watch, Passhelden cycling tours, the Recycler tray and a super cool iPhone charger.

Oiselle Lesley knicker

What: Oiselle is a women’s apparel brand that officially got started in 2007 and has grown steadily since. Recently they signed Lauren Fleshman (wife of Jesse Thomas) as a brand ambassador, but you don’t have to be an Olympic level runner to enjoy the well thought out clothing of Oiselle. Their goal is to un-shlump female runners worldwide and the Lesley knicker for one should be in the athletic closet of any female runner.
MSRP: $60

Boxtera

What: Boxtera is another “snacks delivered to your door” service, and upon closer inspection of one of these boxtera boxes it was fairly easy to tell that the team behind it is very much in touch with the multisport community, or at least understands what snacks a swimmer, cyclist, runner, triathlete might appreciate. The picture below though does not do this service justice, as there are several other items in the box we just could not display properly. But rest assured, we will find a space in our bellies for them.
MSRP: $35 per month / $30 a month with one year commitment

Zoot Ultra WRKSNano THERMOcell jacket

What: This Zoot jacket has a crazy long name that sounds a bit like an internet password, but you won’t have to spell it or say it to appreciate the waterproof, wind blocking and breathable features of this cold temperature jacket. It is rather cold in the Northern hemisphere currently and you don’t want to be forced to stay inside because you don’t have the proper gear to run outside.
Sizes: Men M, L / Women XS - XL
MSRP: $130

Leikr GPS watch

What: Leikr is a new project on kickstarter and this Danish designed GPS watch looks promising. The crew behind it has quite a bit of consumer electronics background and experience and they are passionate about running, cycling and swimming. As of now the crew has raised $65,640 of the $250,000 goal with 28 days left and that shows that this project might indeed become a reality.
Availability: June 2013
MSRP: As of now you can get in as an early supporter with $279

Passhelden

What: Lothar and Nicole Leder are organizing the Passhelden cycling tours and have been doing so since 2009. Currently there are 3 trips on the agenda in 2013 and there is surely something for anybody, especially those who like to climb and ride long. The site is only in German but you surely do not have to be German to participate in a Passhelden tour, and in case you wondered about the name, Passhelden translates roughly as “mountain pass heroes.”
MSRP: starts at 495 EUR

The Recycler tray

What: Gilbert VandenHeuvel creates very unique items from old bicycle parts and the cool serving tray below really caught this editor’s eye. Even if you never need to serve any beverages or food items to your guests, this tray easily would also function as a cool work of art in your home. Plus VandenHeuvel creates various other interesting items like benches and chairs.
Colors: black, white, silver
MSRP: $180

Custom iPhone tank charger

What: The iPhone tank charger featured below is unique on several levels and you don’t have to be interested in military things to appreciate it. If that charger sits on the desk in your office you will end up as a very popular person, or at the very least your official will be a favorite hangout for other folks and iPhones. Available in yellow for the 4/S and in red for the 5.
