First look at the Ridley Fenix Disc

Belgian brand Ridley will offer a disc version of their popular Fenix road bike for 2015 and they showed it to media at the 2014 Press Camp in Deer Valley, Utah. The bike featured here was shown with Shimano Ultegra Di2 components but our understanding is that it will be offered with Shimano 105 or Ultegra mechanical.

Ridley considers the Fenix to be a very versatile road bike that can do it all. It has tire clearance for tires up to 28mm.

The bike will be offered in a variety of setups, but this one is the Ultegra Di2 edition. The cockpit is Ridley house brand 4ZA.

A look down on the frame shows the distinctive paint scheme of this model.

The saddle is also from the Ridley house brand 4ZA.

Rotor 3D cranks are featured and the 52/36 chain rings are becoming a very popular offering.

The Shimano Ultegra Di2 rear derailleur looks sharp.

From this perspective it is easy to see the asymmetric chainstays and the disc brake that is new for this model.

The front end looks very tidy indeed.

There are a variety of cable ports to suit whatever group the rider might opt for.
