General Info: Nix Tri Planet is the Las Vegas Community's premier triathlon Team.

Coach Nic provides athletes with a range of performance tools to enhance the athletes overall fitness. In addition to 2x weekly one on one coaching and group/Team rides/runs/swims, Coach Nic provides athletes with Vo2Max testing. Coach Nic has put together a Performance Team to include Olympic Coaches & presenters Bob Seebohar & Susan Williams (2004 Olympic Bronze Medalist), The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute of Las Vegas and local triathlon, cycling and running stores ProCyclery, ProWheel Builder and Las Vegas Multisport to offer discounts and free clinics to her athletes.

In addition to seeing her athletes excel at what they do best, Coach Nic is dedicated to the health and wellness of her athletes. She is enthusiastic and absolutely loves what she does to engage all levels of athletes to embrace the endurance sport lifestyle.

Coach Nic has certifications with: NASM & USAT.
Rates & Fees: Coach Nic has put together comprehensive athlete packages to include Coaching services, weekly online workouts and Vo2Max Testing.
Packages start at $650.00 per month. This includes all workouts, 1x weekly performance tests, and your Nix Tri Plan

Clinic Overview
This pre-race Clinic is specifically designed for the athlete who wants to learn more and achieve a higher level of success in triathlon. All level of racers are encouraged to attend with the only prerequisite being enthusiasm for the sport. This is an unbelievable opportunity to learn from an Olympic Medalist, an Olympic Coach and Dietician, and a Category 2 cyclist, mechanic, and cycling official all in one day in a location
very near and convenient to the Pumpkinman race location. Don’t let this opportunity slip away! REGISTRATIONS WILL BE LIMITED. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO SIGN UP FOR ALL THREE CLINICS.

-Nutrition Seminar-
Bob will teach the concept of nutrition
periodization, how to use it to successfully
lose weight and body fat, keep the
immune system healthy, and most importantly,
to support workouts with enough
energy without overdoing it. The concept of
metabolic efficiency will be emphasized.
The latest and greatest research concepts about carbohydrates,
protein, fat, fluids, electrolytes and supplements will
be discussed, as well as their proper implementation. Bob
will also discuss the three approaches to weight loss for
endurance athletes at an in depth level.

How to Take Charge of the Swim
Portion of Your Triathlon
-Swim Clinic-
Susan will guide you through the swim
from beginning to end. From wetsuit
entry, to water entry, breathing and
functioning in big crowds, to defensive
swimming and what to expect throughout
the swim leg of your race. You’ll practice
getting in and out of your wetsuit more efficiently and work
on open water skills that will help you be faster and better
prepared for what race day will bring.

“How to Work it Out on the Road
Mechanically & How to Ride
Defensively”
-Bike Clinic-
Richard gives you a top to bottom understanding
of your bike as both a mechanic
and a rider. The what if’s and basic how
to’s are answered: What if I crash? How
do I adjust my helmet, shoes, cleats, and
clips? What if I have a mechanical during
a race? Rich also leads an oustanding
instructional and participatory class on defensive riding.
