General Info: Ben Elder a presenter for USA Triathlon’s coaching education program since 2006 has been certified as USA Triathlon Level II coach and as an American College of Sports Medicine, Health and Fitness Specialist. Ben who earned a B.A. in Kinesiology from University of Louisiana- Lafayette, is currently the performance program manager at Elmwood Fitness Center, an Official coach of Ochsner Ironman New Orleans 70.3. He is also a member of the BQuick Tri-Dat, llc. coaching staff. Along with coaching, Ben has experience as a race director, a regional council member for the South Midwest region (2009-2011) and as a competitive athlete. Ben has had many articles printed in well-know publications such as Runners World and Health & Fitness Magazine.

Some of Ben’s other accomplishments are:
•Member of Team USA 2006, Long Course Triathlon World Championship in Canberra, Australia.
•Assistant Coach Team USA, 2008, Long Course Duathlon World Championships in Geel, Belgium
•2009, Elite Coaching mentorship program participant, under Justin Trolle
•Coached 3 Ironman Hawaii Finishers
•Ironman Finisher
