General Information: At Winning Position, Vicki aims to prescribe comfortable, injury free cycling positions that maximise performance. It is a process that involves addressing an individual?s biomechanics, the bike and the interaction between the two.
Vicki is an ex-professional cyclist, exercise scientist, cycling coach, remedial massage therapist and Pilates instructor.
Vicki?s interest in bike fitting was first sparked by the bike fits and aerodynamic wind tunnel testing that she experienced as a professional athlete and her first hand experience of how important a good fit is to achieving performance and comfort on the bike. Her qualifications and experience in Exercise Physiology and cycle coaching provide Vicki with an insight into the science of bike fitting just as her qualifications and experience in Soft Tissue Therapy means Vicki can assess and address injuries caused by a poor bicycle fit. Directions: Winning position offers a fitting studio in Canberra, the capital city of Australia, which is a great place for road cycling, MTB riding and triathletes of all abilities.
