Shop Info: Hickory and Tweed just celebrated 50 years in business. The shop got its start as a ski shop, which continues to this day. The bike shop opened in 1991, and has grown to be one of the best bike shops in Westchester county. In 2004 we were named best ski shop in the United States. In 2009 and 2010, we were named best bike shop in Westchester by the readers of Weschester magazine. We pride ourselves on customer service, to a fault. If you like high end bikes and accessories, we usually have some pretty cool stuff in the shop!
Directions: Just a minute (literally) off of 684. Get off at exit 3, head south on rt. 22, turn right on rt. 128 (Main St.), go 500 yards, and we're on your right hand side, across the street from the post office. A big red barn, it's pretty hard to miss. Plenty of parking in our back lot!
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
