2013 Eurobike - Day 2

After a heavy downpour yesterday evening most folks were glad that the 2013 Eurobike show headed inside today, and there was plenty to see.

We actually could likely fill a daily update completely with helmets, but we shall refrain and spread the love a bit. While walking through an endless amount of halls in Friedrichshafen, Germany we checked out a few cool bikes, ran across folks of a variety of fame, scouted gadgets and yes, we saw some helmets.

Giro has a a variety of new color option for the Air Attack including this neon green one.

This Carrera Crono TT S 01 got quite a few looks.

Shimano's bike fitting motion capture system has a wizard mode and the red dots show where adjustments need to be made, soon the system can also directly compare the rider's regular bike numbers with the laser pointing the other way.

This is not the final clamp finish, but swapping out saddles is a breeze on the Shimano bikefitting.com system.

Shimano now also has an Aerofuel TT saddle that has been ridden by Team Argos-Shimano Pros and should be available in December for $140.

Zipp's new SL Sprint stem is said to be very stiff and felt reasonably light and word has it that it is Cavendish inspired.

There are opportunities for tired trade show folks to get a break here in Friedrichshafen.

Knog's Blinder ARC 5.5 puts out 550 lumens.

This Salsa carbon fatty won a Eurobike award and was very popular with the show visitors.

Argon 18 showed the new Gallium Pro road bike at Eurobike.

This is the first time for most folks in Friedrichshafen to see the new Felt IA triathlon bike.

Götz Braun the head of marketing of Magura really isn't in a pinch here.

The Continental Grand Prix 4000S II will be available in a variety of colors and in a size 28mm version, plus there will be a 23mm 650 edition.

For Continental to get into the belt drive business seems to be a natural move.

The Casco SPEEDster is a new offering from this brand.

The visor can be flipped up and/or completely removed.

Chris Zenthoefer is the CEO of IceDot and he showed one of the crash sensors.
