Women

Pamella Oliveira, after a second place at Ironman Brazil in 2019, scored her first Ironman overall Sunday in a dominant performance in Florianopolis. Oliveira swam to the lead and increased her margin by 15 minutes by the ends of the bike leg. While surrendering some of her margin on the marathon, Oliveira finished in 8:54:03 with a 12:03 margin on Joanna Ryter of Switzerland and 20:44 on third place finisher Beatriz Neres of Brazil.

Men

Colucci emerged from the swim in fourth place of a pack of 11 men. After a ride with the lead group, Colucci emerged tied for the lead with Arnaud Guilloux of France and Igor Amorelli of Brazil. After a dominating marathon, Colucci finished in 7:48:28 with a 4:43 margin on Amorelli and 11:12 on Fernando Toldi of Brazil, making for an all-Brazilian podium.
