What We Have Noticed: 2XU, Louis Garneau...

This week we came across a nose-less pad from 2XU, snowshoes from Louis Garneau, the Morvélo city cross event, the Specialized Source 2 LTD bike, the Moniker cycle horns and a meh shirt from snorg.

2XU TR pad

What: As more and more folks seem to be riding ISM or similar saddles, the team at 2XU is now very close to offer apparel with the TR pad we had seen it at Interbike a few months back. So if you ride a nose-less saddle you may also want to have a nose-less pad in your shorts. As of now four 2XU garments will feature the TR pad, the TR Compression Trisuit, TR Compression Tri Short, TR Compression Cycle Bibs (mens) and TR Compression Cycle Shorts (women)
Availability: March
MSRP: $140 (TR Compression Tri Short)

Louis Garneau Course snowshoe

What: If you live in area where it actually snows for real versus just giving you a dusting here and there, Louis Garneau has a toy for you that should make you smile from ear to ear. The Course snowshoe is ultra light at just under 720 grams and features a two Boa closure system. We are not aware of any other snowshoe that is in this weight category, so go out and run your heart out.
Weight: sub 720g
MSRP: $249

Morvélo city cross
What: The crew of Morvélo Apparel is organizing a City Cross event on March 3rd, 2013 in Halifax, England and even if you can’t partake in this likely fun event, you should at very least check out the video trailer they shot to promote the event. Plus Morvélo obviously has some cool apparel too, so browse the site while you are at it.

Specialized Source 2 LTD

What: Specialized just announced a campaign where they will give a bike to World Bicycle Relief for every Specialized Source 2LTD sold. The bikes donated to WBR will aid healthcare workers in sub-Saharan Africa to carry more supplies and offer them a bigger travel range to see patients. Specialized calls the campaign “Buy one, give one” and has a list of participating dealers. So if you get one of these cool urban rides, you actually can especially good whenever you are either on it or look at it.
MSRP: $1,500

Moniker Cycle Horns

What: If you really want to get some attention with your bike other than crushing the bike course record en route to the overall win, you may have to look closer at the Moniker Cycle Horns of Taylor Simpson. Should make racking your bike in transition a breeze plus you have places to hang up all that other crap that usually takes over the precious floor space.

meh t-shirt

What: This might be a particularly good time to wear a meh t-shirt or hoody. The crew at snorgtees had this one in their lineup for a little while already and just this week this editor had to say meh a few times. It would be so much easier to just point at your shirt.
Colors: blue with white print
Sizes: Men, Women, Kids & hoodies
MSRP: $19.95
