Aussie Ben Larsson has been passionately working on his Dimond Marquise and had to deal with a few setbacks along the way. He crashed during a race in Phuket where he broke 14 bones and had an encounter with a car while getting ready for 70.3 Shanghai. But at the recent 70.3 Geelong he grabbed 2nd place in M40-44 aboard this bright neon Dimond Marquise. The 43-year old Aussie is 181cm tall and weighs 83kg and rides a medium sized Marquise, and in our forum he goes by shambolic.
This very distinctive bike was painted by Paint My Bike in Brisbane, Australia and it would be difficult to overlook. "I went the fluro theme after being taken out by a car training for my first triathlon in 2012. It has become my signature color since," said Larsson.
The cockpit of this bike was put together with a variety of parts. A Shimano Pro Missile base bar to bar with custom made 20-degree wedge base bar to extensions and custom made 15 degree wedge extensions to arm pads. The arm pads are by Profile Design Race and the stem is by Avanti. TriRig brakes are hidden inside the fork and the front wheel is a Hed GT3 with 24mm Continental GP Force Comp Tubular.
The view of the cockpit from above and the BTA mount is a Glen Alden design, and the bottle is a Vision DS1. His drop from saddle to pads is 130mm.
The Specialized Virtue aero cage on the downtube could possibly use also a bit of neon yellow love, but Larsson said that he never thought about it.
Larsson rides 160mm Rotor 3D+ cranks with 54/41 QXL rings and a Power2Max power meter and Speedplay pedals. And TriRig brakes are mounted below.
The Dash TT.9 saddle and post combo has an Elite Cannibal cage mounted below.

The details of the paint job are great and Larsson is very happy with the bike.

The external battery is sitting in bubble wrap in the storage space above the bottom bracket.
The bento box houses a bottle of sealant for emergencies.
A Digirit oversize rear derailleur cage is seen here, but it is not very common.
For training purposes Larsson uses these Corima 4 spoke clincher wheels.
