Campagnolo Chorus EPS launched

Chorus is the best selling Campagnolo group and it is now available as an EPS edition. Introduced earlier this month we had a chance to actually touch it at the 2014 Press Camp in Park City, Utah - and this may be the product many folks have been waiting for. Campagnolo had introduced an Athena EPS group in the summer of 2012, but sales have been not that grand and that group will not be available moving forward. The Chorus EPS group is very much like Super Record and Record both in appearance and feel, but some of the carbon and titanium bolts and bits have been replaced with steel and aluminum on Chorus EPS. Plus Chorus will still be available as a mechanical option.

Go have a look at the Chorus EPS group.

It is 11 speed, electronically managed and it is Campagnolo. Are you worthy?

Campagnolo NA had several of these Pinarello machines available for test rides at the 2014 Summer Press Camp in Utah.

The Chorus EPS crank looks expensive as does the rest of the group but now has a four-arm spider. It thus allows the cranks to accept standard and compact rings. But length only available in 170, 172.5 and 175. Very European and old school.

The junction box is relatively small, but it is an unsightly object on most road bikes.

At first glance onlookers will have a hard time distinguishing these Chorus EPS shift levers from their Super Record and Record bretheren. Carbon galore.

Not much new with the front brake, but why rock the boat when all is calm and smooth.

A look at the rear brake.

The big camera was already stashed away when we snapped these pictures. Apologies from us and Apple.
