Kyle Buckingham's Look 796

South African Kyle Buckingham is competing on a Look 796 Monoblade this season and he thus joins a few selected French pros who race on this unique machine. Look has a White Paper of the 796 Monoblade up on their site, for people who are curious and have a thirst for aerodynamic data.

Buckingham is working on a return to Kona and hopes to represent his French sponsor well.

The cables could be taped tidier, but outside that this Look 706 Monoblade is a very slippery triathlon bike.

Buckingham races on ENVE SES 7.8 wheels with CermicSpeed hubs and rides Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 components. The Look 796 frame is a size 54cm.

Up close with the aero appearing Look ZED crank. Buckingham rides it in a 172.5 position.

The crank length on these ZED cranks can be adjusted to be either 170, 172.5 or 175mm in length. Very clever and distinctive.

Buckingham races on 25mm Continental 4000 S II tires with Continental tubes. The brakes on the Look 796 Monoblade are integrated into the fork.

The power data of this fast South African comes from the Look Keo Power pedals. Buckingham is very fond of them.

Where is the bike? Not much to see here.
