General Info

General Info: Billy has been coaching the very successful Naval Academy Triathlon collegiate team since 2008. He has helped them earn 3 National team titles. Along with his work with the USNA squad he specializes in working with athletes on restricted timelines utilizing solid training metrics from swim to bike to run. (i.e. power, HR, paces for effort zones) His methods have translated to solid Elite Age Group racing.

Billy believes sport should be a part of life and should complement one's life. Training needs to take advantage of the time one has.

Billy believes in giving his athletes not only the numbers of each workout but also assuring the athlete understands the intent of each workout. He will work with each athlete on everything from race nutrition to proper gear to the psychology of racing and training.

Billy is a graduate of USNA, a former active Marine Infantry Officer and raced as a professional ironman triathlete. He began as a youth runner and even is a RAAM record holder. He has participated in nearly every format of endurance sports and utilizes his experiences in his coaching.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
