General Information

General Information: With nearly 20 years experience working with racing teams at the highest level in North America, Jim O'Brien has the know-how to make the rider/bicycle interface as comfortable and as powerful as possible. It's not enough to have the best equipment; it must fit!

At The Right Gear we do everything in our power to make you and your bike the fastest you can be. The POWRFIT system has been under development and refinement for the past 20 years. You are set up on your own bike and the changes to your position are evaluated for net benefit. Your input is used to fine tune from the starting point. The position WILL be maximized to your physiology and abilities, whatever they are.
POWRFIT does not find more power, it just keeps you from wasting what you already have. The net result is easy to feel.
What we know comes from years and years of racing experience; not a three day classroom course.
Directions: I85 North/South(depending on your travel direction!) to exit 58. Take the US29S/Concord ramp. Go through the traffic lights in front of Northeast Medical Center onto North Church st. The Right Gear is on the left.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
