None Shop Info: Owner Brian Curran began his cycling career in 1989 at Outspokin', working in sales for founder Chris Hardwicke. Brian managed Outspokin' for fifteen years and purchased the store in 1997. He attributes Outspokin's success to its staff members' passion for cycling. "We've got one of the most diverse staffs that I've seen in the cycling industry. It's a requirement that our employees ride regularly, but what's different about Outspokin' is that we've got people on staff that range from category 1 road racer to a couple of guys who just want to enjoy the trails occasionally. It's this kind of diversity that makes shopping here easy. We've got people who can talk technical issues about bikes, and then we've got people who can talk to someone who has never ridden a bike before," Curran said. Directions: We are located off exit 10 on I-77 at the intersection of Devine St. and Millwood Ave.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
