General Information
Club Info: The Appalachian State University Triathlon Team is a student-run organization that falls under the guidance of Appalachian State University Club Sports and USA Triathlon. We swim, bike, and run our way through Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Triathlon Conference sanctioned events, as well as non-collegiate races, and multi-sport festivals!
The team was established in the Fall of 2011 by a few passionate student athletes, and has grown to become an influential force in App State's Club Sports program! Members range from beginners to seasoned triathletes; but all have the collective goal of improving and growing in multi-sport athletics. At 3,000 feet above sea-level and surrounded by beautiful mountains, Boone, NC serves as the perfect place to train with the support of each other.
App State's triathlon team is open to all students and faculty, regardless of experience or skill level. Club Sponsors: Info available to members Club Discounts: Info available to members Directions to Workouts & Meeting Location(s): Check Events Page for this info:

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
