General Information

Club Info: The Concourse Tri Club (CTC) is USA Triathlon sanctioned and was established, first and foremost, as a social organization centered around the common enjoyment of and participation in triathlon training and contests. CTC is open to all levels of capability and experience and offers a wide variety of training programs and social activities that conform to the needs of our members.
Our club is made up of triathletes of all different levels: many age groupers, novice level as well as elite top performers. We compete in everything from Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons up to ½ and full Ironman distance events. You can find CTC members at many marathons, road races, gap and century bike rides and open water swims as well. The Concourse Tri Club also supports the annual SEE-ME event in Atlanta GA. SEE-ME (Southeastern Endurance and Multisport Expo) kicks off the new TRI season each year with vendors displaying the latest equipment and gear, seminars to help you improve, free give-a-ways like TRI bikes and supplies as well as race registrations. SEE-ME is also a great social event to mix and mingle with other endurance athletes.

Of course we would not be able to provide all of services and information if we did not have our loyal sponsors. Many thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters – please support them as they are the BEST in the area!

The ultimate goal of CTC is to evangelize the sport of triathlon and healthful living through positive and constructive involvement in the community with a social and inclusive membership
Club Sponsors: CTC has three primary partners and one named charity for the 2009 season.

2009 Partner Organizations:

The Concourse Athletic Club
Arguably the premier fitness club in the Atlanta area, the Concourse Athletic Club has been the host club for many of our triathletes for a number of years. With excellent training facilities and coaching services, the Concourse Athletic Club is a natural fit for CTC. The Concourse Athletic Club provides one of the best Masters Swim programs in the Southeast and is a popular avenue of aquatics instruction for many of Atlanta's triathletes, with participation options for both members and non-members of the Athletic Club.

1st Choice Healthcare Center, LLC.

1st Choice Healthcare Center is no stranger to the Atlanta multisport community. 1st Choice offers several different disciplines such as Physical Therapy, Chiropractic services, Massage Therapy and exercise rehab all under one roof to make it as convenient as possible for the patient. For the 2009 season, 1st Choice Healthcare will provide CTC members with 15% discounts on all non-insured services as well as a minimum of two planned seminars on endurance sports related topics during the year.

Competitor Southeast magazine

Competitor Southeast is the leading publication serving Atlanta, S. Florida, and N. Florida and covers participation sports such as cycling, running, triathlon and other outdoor activities.

Competitor SE is all about teaching its readers how to swim, how to bike, how to run, how to train, how to race, and most importantly, how to make a difference in their lives and in the lives of others.Throughout the 2009 season, Competitor SE will provide CTC members with opportunities for discounted or complimentary event registrations as well as product giveaways relevant to the endurance community.

2009 Named Charity:

The Getting2Tri Foundation, Inc.
CTC is proud to partner with the Atlanta Chapter of The Getting2Tri Foundation (G2T). G2T believes that individuals with a disability deserve the inspiration, support and opportunity to participate in athletic endeavors that promote healthy, active lifestyles. Its mission is to provide services and programs through the sports of swimming, cycling, and running to align physically challenged individuals with their athletic pursuits, create communities for knowledge sharing, and reduce the perceived barriers between people. CTC members are highly encouraged to provide their talent, time and treasure as available in support of The Getting2Tri Foundation. Monthly volunteer opportunities are available as well as participation in the March 2009 National Triathlon Training Camp.
