2014 Interbike - day 2

It was hot and dry today in Boulder City, NV, but that did not stop folks from attending the Interbike Outdoor Demo Day to test bikes and check out new goodies.

Monty Boyle who runs the Giant demo truck in the Midwest was hard at work early in the morning to deal with the dust on the bikes.

Nic Sims and the whole Scott Sports crew had their hands full all day.

All that riding makes people thirsty, and unlike at Eurobike, people here just get to fill up their bottles without having to pay up.

Working the berm and kicking up some dust.

The trails were very busy today and the fitness and experience level of the test pilots varied greatly.

On the roads less traveled, but fun nonetheless.

We are not certain, but believe this man high up on the rocks is trials stud Vittorio Brumotti.

These twins turned 2 a few months ago and showed great agility and patience.

The used car sales approach is not common in the bike industry, but we came across it at ODD.

Litespeed now has a bike in the gravel category - meet the T5 Gravel.

This new Tharsis stem from Shimano hides the junction A box inside where typically the star fangled nut resides.

This stem allows the headset compression via this 32mm nut at the bottom of the stem.

With Fluo colors so popular it is no surprise to see them on brakes and other components.

The line of test riders outside the Felt booth.

Trying on new shades in the Smith Optics booth.

Yurbuds introduced wireless bluetooth connected headsets at ODD.

This man was hard at work in the Rotor booth.

This Onyx cyclocross hub features instant engagement. And no, it can't be had in clear plastic, that was just for show.

The crank brothers booth was popular because of the frozen delights offered all day, and of course their cool components.

For those not satisfied with frozen delights and water, there were several food trucks on site to satisfy hungry riders.
