Collington will be racing the Ventum for the first time this weekend in Wiesbaden at the Ironman 70.3 European Championships.

With his race wheels already awaiting the trip to Wiesbaden, Collington trains on Shimano’s Dura Ace C50 wheelset. He uses Continental Gatorskin Hardshell tires for the rough roads in the mountains around Boulder.

The Ventum is faster with the hydration storage unit affixed to the top tube. It's available in a variety of colors, but Collington chose to go stealth mode.

The hydration unit is neatly bolted to the top tube so the rider doesn't need to worry about it moving around during flight.

Collington is very particular about his bike fit, and has turned to Shimano Dura Ace 167.5mm cranks for the season.

The front brake is hidden nicely inside the Ventum fork.

To achieve his ideal stack, Collington pedestals his Pro Missile aero bars with spacers.

Collington received his Ventum following his 3rd place finish at Ironman 70.3 Vineman, and he has been busy logging miles on it in prep for Wiesbaden 70.3 and Ironman 70.3 Worlds later this month.
