TIME Adds Shimano to Their Product Line

TIME has remained a distinct offering in the road bike category. After some fits and starts, the new 2023 Alpe D'Huez Disc is here, and will now offer Shimano components on this particular model range.

#BikePorn is real on this one....

Bio-Based DYNEEMA was easy for TIME to start using based on the RTM tech they use in producing the frames.

TIME has teamed up with the Italian company DEDA Elementi for handlebars and stems.

DEDA superhero Carbon SB 22mm seat post and Italian saddle maker REPENTE Quasar black saddle.

The bike will offer 160mm front and rear rotors.

TIME offers both 12 speed Shimano Ultegra and Dura-ace drivetrains on this bike.

And a really cool personal touch paying respect to the founder Roland Cattin, which reads:

"Founded in 1987 by Roland Cattin, and by choosing carbon construction processes unique in our industry, TIME has remained at the head of the technological curve. TIME is a true icon of creativity, free thinking, independence and technical excellence.

You ride TIME because you value our singular approach that stands apart in this increasingly homogenised world. You ride TIME because it perfectly compliments your own individuality."

In my opinion, it's great to see TIME coming back to life. It's been a couple of years since Tony Karklins and his team purchased the company and it sure hasn't been easy. But I do feel like that are doing a great job at moving the company forward into the future while still maintaining the core values of what made TIME a globally recognized brand.
