Course Info: Start Conditions: Crisp morning air and a 100 meter dash to the transition area. High energy? You bet! Bike Course Conditions: The entire 2-loop bike course takes place within Lory State Park. There are some sections on flat wide open dirt roads, single track bike trail and some awesome technical climbs AND descents. Athletes will have the unique challenge of two faster paced & wide open passing opportunities on this course. 1100ft of gain will challenge your mountain bike skills and legs. Run Course Conditions: The run course features 573ft of elevation gain on nice packed trails with a few fast and technical sections. Save some of that mega watt power off the bike as you?ll want to sprint for the finish line when you see it from the last hill crest.

More: Time to get dirty! The ?Dirty Duo? Offroad Ride & Run is a challenging and inspiring event on the trails of Lory State Park. Similar in layout to the popular Lory Xterra Triathlon, this race ditches the swim for a ?LeMans style? start. When the gun goes off (or in this case an air horn), athletes will run 100 meters to their bikes in transition. From there it?s an all out race on some of the best ride & run trails around. Fast flat sections, tight technical turns, challenging climbs and soaring views of Horsetooth Reservoir. This race will challenge your legs with the climbs but keep you motivated the whole way with some truly breathtaking views & sights.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
