Course Info: Part of a greater festival with options from a half distance to relays, duathlons and aquabikes.

The deep-water swim course takes place in a canal connecting Seneca Lake to the Seneca River, with an in-the-water start and excellent spectator viewing for the entirety. Water temperature is typically in the mid-70's, so expect wetsuits to be allowed.

The bike includes sections of the Half course. It winds through Seneca County on the east side of Seneca Lake, on lightly-trafficked, scenic roads dotted with vineyards. The course has rolling hills, but no big climbs.

The sprint run loops through expansive Seneca Lake State Park and Geneva's Lakefront Park, with most of the distance on a lakeside path. The course is completely flat and well-shaded with ancient weeping willow trees.

More: Summer in the Finger Lakes is as sweet as a field of strawberries, as bright as the sun sparkling on a deep blue lake. Geneva in July is a little slice of heaven; with welcoming arms and gracious smiles, this community welcomes you to thrill in being alive. Come, indulge, enjoy.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
