Course Info: This is a great way to test your winter's training program. The longer distance is designed to challenge your ability while the shorter is for everyone. The shorter event shares the same details and course as the longer, but the swim and bike are .33 miles and 12.5 miles. The longer race begins with a .9 mile swim in the crystal waters of Purity Lake. This time of the year water temperatures will be in the low 60's. A wetsuit is not mandatory, but may be worn. Scenic roadways of Madison, Freedom, and Tamworth combine to make the 33.1 mile bike course. Enjoy the rolling landscape! This course has a challenging hill at mile 19 followed by a 1 mile down hill.
