Course Info: The race begins with a mass bike start in Great Barrington followed by 27 miles through scenic back country rolling hills to Lenox. Bikers hand off to paddlers who paddle 5 miles around Stockbridge Bowl and then runners complete the course with a 6 mile run around the lake and finish down the main gate of Tanglewood in Lenox.
More: 43rd annual Josh Billings Triathlon in the Berkshires of western Ma. 43 categories for ironpersons and teams with separate divisions for canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. Awards for top 3 category winners presented at the Bash at Tanglewood with a live band, food, vendors and a free Kid's Race. No registration on Race Day and packet pickup is on Saturday at the Arcadian Shop in Lenox. Online registration is at Active.com.
Directions: Easy access to the Berkshires from the Mass Pike from the east or west and from Route 7 if travelling from the north or south. Check our website for directions to the race start at the Price Chopper parking lot in Great Barrington.
