Course Info: The swim will be staged in the Russian River, just four miles downstream from Johnson's Beach, the venue where the other Vineman Triathlon events have been held for more than two decades. The bike course follows the Russian River and travels through the old growth redwood trees before continuing west to where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean. The run is held on the course that once was the home of the Moscow Road Race, a popular run from the running boom days of the 1970's. The run course is flat, fast, and shaded almost the entire way.

More: Prizes are awarded for 19&Under and each five year age group starting with 20-24 and going all the way up to 80+.
Drafting is not allowed in this event and the course will be marshaled by USA Triathlon officials.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
