General Information

Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Yes, all registration/convenience fees are included in price or disclosed up front.
Course Info: 3K canoe/kayak/stand-up paddleboard course on beautiful Boulder Lake across to historic Camp Manito-wish YMCA. Biking from the camp for 22K along rustic roads around Boulder Junction returning to the camp. Running the 6K on beautiful roads and trails in the woods of Boulder Junction ending at the Boulder Junction Community Center. Triathlon begins at 9am, cook-out & music from 11am-3pm at the Community Center with awards ceremony at 1:30pm.

More: Award Ceremony begins at 1:30pm or after the last finisher, whichever time is sooner. In 2018, we will not be creating separate divisions for canoe, kayak or SUP. You may use the watercraft of your choice, but all entrants will be competing in the same divisions as listed below.

Individuals, ages 15-70+: Medals will be awarded to the top two males and top two females in each of the following age categories: 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Award plaques will be presented to the top male and top female overall.
2 Person Teams: Divisions are male/male, female/female and co-ed. Each team member in each of the top finishing divisions will be presented with an award plaque and the runner-up team members in each division will be awarded a medal.
3-Person Relay: three people will each complete one leg of the course. A plaque for each member of the top relay team will be awarded and the runner-up team members will be awarded a medal.
Participation medals will be awarded to all athletes completing the triathlon and relay participation medals to the relay participants completing the event at the finish line.

Directions: Participant & Visitor Parking Areas: After dropping off gear, park your car in one of the designated parking areas:

? There is NO PARKING at Camp Manito-wish YMCA

Shuttle bus stops: Participants only will take the shuttle back to the Boulder Lake Boat Landing at the Boulder Junction Community Center and Boulder Junction Ball Field from 7:30am-9:30am. There will be NO RETURN SHUTTLE to the landing in the afternoon. Shuttles for participants will only be available prior to the start of the race.

Spectator-Parking & Viewing: Spectators are welcome to cheer on along the bike and run routes. Please use caution.

Boulder Lake Boat Landing:

PADDLE TRANSITION AREA There will be minimal parking at the boat landing for spectators. Park along the road after the unloading zone.
Camp Manito-wish YMCA:

BIKE-RUN TRANSITION AREA Vehicles can be parked at the Vilas County Garage lot at Hwy K & Marsh Road then spectators may walk the 1/2-3/4 mile walk into the camp for viewing of the paddlers coming into the camp from the shoreline, and in the same general area, spectators can view the bike transition area.

Park east of Winter Park entrance on Old K on the South side of the road. (No parking before the entrance for the participants to safely run.) Walk into the park to view runners from this area as they enter the forest trail.

The finish line is behind the Boulder Junction Community Center by the pavilion. Parking is at the Community Center, ball field next to the Boulder Junction Chamber Office or on Marsh Rd (across from the Chamber Office)
