This week we took a look at the Rotor 3D + cranks, the 3T Zefiro bars, a Tour de France periodic table poster, Coco Cafe coconut water, Converse Chuck Taylor shoes and the 2012 Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic.
Rotor 3D+ road cranks
What: The Rotor 3D + road cranks have been around for a while now but the size offerings have surely increased. You can now get them in 150, 155, 160, 165, 170, 172.5, 175, 177.5 and 180mm lengths and both 110 and 130 spider options. Plus a TT version should be available this month.
3T Zefiro Pro bars
What: You don't have to be an ITU Pro to appreciate these 3T Zefiro Pro bars, but you might look the part with them on your bike. They also have been around for a while but we thought not everyone is familiar with them. They could really come into play during a century or a gran fondo, unless of course you only want to sit in with the bunch. The Zefiro is also available in lighter Team and LTD editions, for a bit more money.
Weight: 595 grams
le tour des Merveilles
What: le tour des Merveilles isn't just some random periodic table but a very cool visual homage to the history of the Tour de France and the men who won the event over the years. This beautiful poster is a high quality giclée print on luxurious heavy weight Hahnemühle art paper and a very limited number of them can be personalized. So if you want your super fan details added, you best get on it.
Sizes: 30x40cm or 40x50cm.
Coco Cafe coconut water
What: You may have seen coconut water offerings showing up everywhere, but Coca Cafe may not be among those, at least not yet. Coca Cafe though isn't just coconut water - it also features a shot of fair trade organic espresso and 2% milk. Are you thirsty yet?
MSRP: $27.50 (pack of 12)
Converse Chuck Taylor Chambray
What: With a closet full of running shoes and cycling shoes it may not be such a bad idea to add a few casual fun shoes to the collection. In fact it should almost be a requirement for a guy to own a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors. They don't have to be these cool faded Chambray ones, but they would certainly do it.
2012 Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic
What: In a few days the 2012 Volkswagen Sea Otter Classic gets on the way just outside of Monterey, CA and we will be there to check out what is new and exciting. You can actually be there too, because unlike the Interbike trade show in Las Vegas, this festival is open to the public. 333 different vendors are expected to exhibit at the Sea Otter Classic, plus there are all kinds of cycling events throughout the 4 days. So come out and join us.
